Obituary of Gregory Armstrong Goetz

It is with sincere sadness that we announce the passing of Greg Goetz, beloved husband of Iris Goetz of Calgary, on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the age of 61 years. Besides his loving wife of twenty-six years, Greg is survived by his children Gregory (Cindy), Tammy (Ken), Melodie (Elliot), Kurt, and Dana (Paul); grandchildren Evan, Aaron, Madison, Hailey, Joshua, Joseph, Nicholas, and Alex; his mother Elsie; two sisters, Marilyn (Rennie) and Andrea; and by his companion Pebbles. He was predeceased by his father Victor and his brother Graham. Greg was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 7, 1948. He loved to spend his time with his wife and family camping and fishing. Greg also liked puttering around and getting his hands dirty while building new creations. A Celebration of Greg’s Life will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba at a later date.
