Obituary of Joseph Anton Kuemper

Joseph A. “Joe” Kuemper, beloved husband of Charlotte Kuemper of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Joe was born on March 30, 1926 in Muenster, Saskatchewan, and moved to Calgary in 1960. Charlotte and Joe were married on August 8, 1950. He was a certified Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Mechanic, and also worked for Telus where he retired from in 1986. Joe loved family get-togethers, and travelling to see his brothers and sisters every fall. His hobbies included carpentry, gardening and napping. Besides his loving wife Charlotte, Joe is survived by children Jim & Michele, and Yvonne of Calgary, and Marianne & Randy Coulson of Houston, Texas; grandchildren Mandy (Darren), Melissa (Trevor), Ryan (Alyson), Jason, and Kim; and great-granddaughter Breanna. He is also survived by special niece Linda (Larry) Angeli and her family, Joel (Shirley), Jamie (Kyle), Jessie (Brindy), Summer, and Destiny; brothers Ernie (Dot), Benno (Irene), Ed (Del), and Fred (Loretta); sisters Marie, Dolores and Eleanor (Garvin); and sisters-in-law Theresa and Paula. Joe was predeceased by his parents; brothers Ray, Gilbert, and Art; sister-in-law Betty; and brothers-in-law Marcel and Ron.
