Obituary of Helen Ostler

Helen Ostler of Calgary passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at the age of 89 years. Helen was born in Tiszaadony, Hungary and immigrated to Canada at the age of eleven years. She first settled in the Lethbridge area until moving to Calgary in 1942 where she remained until her passing. Helen raised a wonderful family, worked at Woodward’s Stores and travelled extensively. Helen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Diane; grandchildren, James and Nadine (Thor); great-grandson Lars; sisters, Margaret, Victoria; brother Charles; as well as by several nieces and nephews.
