It is in great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother Fran after a short time in the Foothills Hospital following a heart attack. Fran was born in St Denis, SK. Attaining her Nursing License at a young age; she began her life long career of caring for people. She will always be remembered for her selfless acts. Many are grateful for her life as she touched theirs with compassion. Retiring from more than thirty years of service, Fran enjoyed hiking, fishing, snow-shoeing and always had time for Family and Friends. She was an avid reader and writer who reveled in the world of literature. Fran is survived by Daughters Sherry, Gayle and Karen Thomas; Grandson Brody Grant; Brother Victor and Sister Phyllis. She was predeceased by Parents Adolph and Nellie Deptuck and Sister Mrs. Mary Rygajlo. We would like to Thank all of her friends as well as the staff of the 10th floor ICU for their care and devotion in her final days. A Memorial Service will be Celebrated at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
