Obituary of George Gordon Presly

Gord, beloved husband of Lavinia of Calgary, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Gord was born in Mervin, SK. on December 30, 1922. In 1951 he moved to Calgary where he made his home. He served as a Jehovah ’s Witness for thirty-one years. Gord is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of twenty years Lavinia, sons Dale and Michael (Suzy); step-son Rob (Rena); grandchildren Rowan and Cally; as well as step-grandchildren Bobbi and Taze. He was predeceased by his late wife Joan and son Gregg. A Memorial Service will be held at Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses (8104 Bowness Rd NW) on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
