Obituary of Jessie Genevieve McCracken

It is with sadness that Pat’s family announces her quiet passing at The Beverly Centre on Thursday, July 16, 2009, at the age of 87 years. Pat was recently predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Andy, on May 23, 2009. She will be greatly missed by her family; son Bob (Lynette) of High River; and daughter Lynne (the late John Phillips) of Calgary. Her loving kindness and madcap sense of adventure will live on in her grandchildren- Jessica McCracken and Rob and Andrew Phillips. Pat lived most of her life in Montreal, but she loved living in Calgary, where she got to see her grandchildren grow up. While Pat and Andy loved to travel and volunteer, her happiest moments were spent with family. Even though it’s been a long goodbye, parting is still so difficult.
