Obituary of Victor Leslie Churney

Vic passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Victor was born August 21, 1934 in Neepawa, Manitoba. He came to Calgary in 1957 where he was in floor covering and later became a custom cabinet maker. Victor is survived by his loving wife Alice of nearly 54 years; daughters Cheryl Anne Stott(Dave Brown) and Charlene Leslie (Gerry) Brust. Three beautiful grandchildren Carter, Derek and Alison. Three sisters Rose North, Jean Hosler and Mary Hawkins; his twin brother Frank as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Foothills Lutheran Church (3104 – 34th Avenue N.W.) on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery.
