Obituary of Winifred Roddy

Winifred Roddy passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the age of 79 years. Born in England and raised in Wales, Win immigrated to Canada with her husband and daughter in 1954. She had resided in Edmonton continuously since 1965 until the passing in October 2008 of her husband of fifty-nine years, Robert. Thereafter, she relocated to Calgary to be closer to her daughter and family. Win is survived by her daughter Jacqueline (Bruce) Healy and grandson David Healy of Calgary, as well as several extended family members in England. As per Winifred’s request, no funeral service is planned, and her remains will be interred in the United Kingdom at a later date. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
