Obituary of Gary Lee Gray

Gary Lee Gray of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the age of 55, with his beloved wife Julie and cherished daughter Holly by his side. Gary was born in Wichita, Kansas on November 18, 1953. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Calgary, leading him into a career of retail management, working at all the major department stores in the city. Most recently Gary worked at Mikasa until he decided upon pursuing a dream, which led him towards a significant career change. He became an electrician by studying at SAIT and thoroughly enjoyed working as an apprentice for Western Electric on the McCuaig Tower at Foothills Hospital. Gary enjoyed golfing, skiing, camping, building, repairing, computers and being with family and friends. Always respected, admired and appreciated, a great worker, a practical joker, a family man, who always looked for the best in people, Gary will be dearly missed. Gary is survived by his parents, Jean and Lee Gray , brother Tim (Jenny) , sister Michelle (Richard). Bean, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
