Obituary of Marie Ann Heikkila

Marie Heikkila, beloved wife of Victor Heikkila of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the age of 62 years. Marie was born July 4, 1946 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Marie is survived by her loving husband Vic; daughter Ashley; sister-in-law and niece, Judy and Dawn Marie Beckwith; sisters-in-law, Irma Doupe and Joanne Cooper; brother-in-law Hughie Heikkila; as well as numerous nieces, nephews cousins and extended family members. She was predeceased by her parents Emma and Thomas; brother John; Aunt Edith Beckwith and life long friend Karen Carr as well as many other family members. A Celebration of Marie’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery.
