Obituary of Jack Graham

Jack Graham beloved husband of Margaret of Calgary passed away suddenly at our “SUMMER PLACE” in Big Fork, Montana on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at the age of 72 years. Jack was born on June 30, 1937 in Liverpool, England. Jack had an adventurous spirit that took his family to five continents. He was a competitive athlete having coached and participated in soccer, Australian Rules Football and other sports. Jack was an avid fan of the Liverpool Football Club. He served with the British Army in the Ox and Bucks Regiment as an armourer and paratrooper, where he was stationed in Cyprus and Europe. Jack returned to England where he met his beloved Marg with whom he described the moment as love at first sight. They were married for 51 years. Jack was well known and respected in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, having worked for the Province of Alberta, and MI/Swaco from where he retired in 2004. His strong work ethic continued through his own consulting business until passing. A devoted dad and provider for his daughters, Suzanne, and Julie (Bill Cameron), and sons Bernard (Chris), Michael (Janelle). Precious Papa to Jenny, Jack (John Henry V) his namesake, Olivia, Seth, Kennedy, Laura, Kim and Mary. Jack was predeceased by his daughter Kerry Ann Graham, grand daughter Steffi Aitken, his son-in-law David Aitken, his Mum and Dad, and brothers Ray and Harry. Jack will be remembered fondly by family and friends in the UK. We will continue to celebrate his life and legacy with love and laughter.
