Obituary of Elizabeth Peggy Vickers

Peggy Vickers of Calgary passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the age of 79 years. Peggy was born in Calgary on May 26, 1930. She then moved with her family to Cramon and then back to Calgary. Her biggest joy in life was the time she spent each week with the In-definite Arts Society where Peggy enjoyed painting and the fellowship she had with the staff and fellow artists. In-definite Arts was like family to Peggy. Peggy was a long time member of Pleasant Heights United Church which later became Wild Rose United Church. During her stay at Brentwood Care Centre she was surprised to learn that her father was living there. The staff helped to re-unite Peggy with her father during the final months of his life. Funeral Services will be held at Wild Rose United Church (1317 – 1st Street NW) on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., with parking relaxation in effect.
