Obituary of Augustina Marie Cornelia Miller

Augustina Marie Cornelia (Teenie/Tina) Miller, beloved mother of Carol Procuik, of Cochrane passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009 at the age of 93 years. She was “the sunshine of our lives”. Teenie was born in the Municipality of Springfield, MB and lived there with her parents and three sisters on a dairy farm. In 1941, she married Bill and after he returned from serving overseas in World War II, they lived in Winnipeg, MB, raising two children. In 1985, following retirement from Miller Beauty Supplies, she and Bill moved to Alberta to be closer to their grown children and their families. Teenie had resided in Cochrane since 1998. She was a cherished, adored, and much loved mother, grandmother, and friend. She always had a smile for everyone, a true “classy lady”. Augustina loved all shades of pink. Please feel free to wear her favourite colour to the service. She would have loved that! Besides her loving daughter Carol, Augustina is also survived by her son-in-law Carl; grandchildren, Jared Procuik of Lumby, BC, and Jennifer Procuik of Calgary; daughter-in-law Sharel Miller of Calgary; grandchildren, Daymon Miller of Banff, and Shaeney Miller of Calgary. Teenie was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1996 and her son Don in 2003. Also surviving her is her sister Wilhelmina Klimpke of Winnipeg, MB; as well as countless nieces and nephews.
