Obituary of Justin Maynard Simeon

Justin Simeon was called home peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the age of 51 years. Justin was a kind, soft spoken and caring cowboy. He had a love for country music and he devoted much of his time playing guitar in his band “Stir-Up High”. Two of his special achievements were being an INFR and FCA saddle bronc champion in 1995. Justin enjoyed Rodeos and the life that comes with being a cowboy. He was also a skilled hockey player; playing for the original Morley Tomahawks from 1974-1981. Justin received his education in Morley; and he worked most of his life for the Chiniki Band in various occupations. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Belinda of 17 years; children Teresa (Blaine), Tysa (Randy) and Larissa (Steve) Twoyoungmen, Justin Jr. (Raven), Jessica, Cameron, Bailey and Sokova Simeon; his mother Doreen Simeon; his brother Jarvis (Lawana) Simeon; his sister Renetta Simeon; his companion Jolie Amos; his 9 grandchildren; his maternal uncles Charlie (Cassie) and Johnny (Georgie) Mark; his maternal aunt Florence Twoyoungmen; his paternal aunt Alice (Tom) Kaquitts; his special friends Terry Labelle and Gerald (Glenna) Mark and all his numerous relatives and friends. He is predeceased by a son Andrew; his father Carl Simeon; brother Leon; maternal grandparents Paul and Eunice Mark; paternal grandparents Thomas and Francis Simeon; uncle Wilfred Mark; aunts Reba Baptiste, Hannah and May Simeon. The family apologize if they have missed anyone. Wake Services will be held at the residence of the late Eunice and Paul Mark (Morley, AB) on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 28, 2009. Funeral Services will be held at Morley Gymnasium (Morley, AB) on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery (Morley, AB).
