I didn’t know Dr. Miller but I am indebted to him for his pioneer work in cardiac surgery that was the foundation of the surgery that saved my husband’s life last week. My prayers are that Dr. Miller’s family will be comforted by the Lord in knowing what a brilliant and kind hearted man Dr. Miller was.

I’m not sure if you will remember me. I was a friend of John’s while he was in graduate and medical school. I have often thought fondly of you and George and was very saddened to learn of your recent loss. You were both so kind and welcoming to me and I will always remember the happy times I spent in your company.
