Obituary of Bruce Douglas Day

With love and fondest memories, we announce that Bruce D. Day, beloved Husband, Son, Brother, Father and Grandfather passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009 at the age of 77 at the Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary. Bruce was involved in the Oil and Gas business for more than forty years. In retirement he enjoyed gardening, golf, traveling with Sherle and spending time with his six grandchildren. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sherle; his mother Evelyn; four children, John (Lynda), Colleen (John), Caralea (Dominic) and Craig (Lara); six grandchildren; brother Allan; and sisters, Jean and Audrey. Memorial Service will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church (18 Hidden Creek Road NW) on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery.
