Obituary of Mary Engen

Mary Engen beloved wife of Jim Engen of Airdrie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at the Sarcee Hospice at the age of 90 years. Mary was born in Champion, AB and has lived in the Airdrie community since her early childhood. Mary is survived by her loving husband Jim of 34 years; her four children, Kathleen (Howard) Verbeurgt, Jerry (Sharon) Jensen, Frank (Carly) Jensen and Kristine (David) Cunningham; two step-daughters, Phyllis (Lyle) Anderson and Connie Lonsberry (Michael Larch); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-laws Lilly Jensen and Margie Reid. Mary was predeceased by her first husband of 29 years Carsten Jensen in 1971; brother Frank Reid and sisters Jean Nixdorff and Margaret Clayton.
