Obituary of Daniel Bloomfield

Daniel Bloomfield, beloved husband of Frances for 65 years, passed away at the Hillcrest Care Centre on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the age of 89 years. Daniel was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of the Beth Tzedec Synagogue and the Jewish War Veterans. Daniel was loved and cherished by his wife and children, grandchildren and especially his great-grandson Mattia Capri of Italy. He passed away just three weeks short of his 90th birthday. Daniel is survived by his wife Frances; two sons, Dr. Barry (Sheila) and Michael (Christine); brother Jerome (Ann); grandchildren, Sherry (Diego), Jessica, Brian, Sarah, Juli, Alizah; and great-grandchild Mattia. He was predeceased by his daughter Keren and brother Milton. Funeral Services will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, (North East Corner of Highway 22X & 37th Street S.W.,) on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Beth Tzedec Memorial Park (162 Avenue S.W., off McLeod Trail S.).
