Obituary of Leonard Albert West Trevors

Leonard Trevors, beloved husband of Loretta, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2009 at the age of 91 years. Len was born in Chatham, NB on October 11, 1917. He came to Calgary in 1941 where he met his future wife, Loretta Watson. They were married on July 23, 1941 and would have celebrated their sixty-eighth wedding anniversary next month. Len loved the mountains and spent many happy hours in Beaumont park. Subsequently a bench will be erected in his loving memory. He is survived by his wife, Loretta; beloved daughter Lois and husband Thomas Kelly; three sisters, Eleanor Bladon (George), Cathy Matchett and Betty Whalen (Jack); brother Donald; and many relatives in the Maritime Provinces. He was predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Wilmot Trevors; three brothers, Alfred, Ronald and Boyd; brother in-law Leslie Matchett; sister in-law Jean Trevors; and numerous step brothers.
