Obituary of Gordon Sorochan

The Sorochan family: Glenda, Gwen, Geoff and Gavin announce that their beloved husband and father Gordon passed away on June 5, 2009.

Born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Gordon was the youngest of 10 children. Gordon defined what a self made man is; having educated himself, rising through the ranks of the Royal Canadian Air Force to become a Captain, and then finishing his career as an accomplished Air Traffic Controller.

Gordon loved traveling and enjoyed golfing on vacations with his beloved wife throughout the US. He especially appreciated their travels to Europe where his natural curiosity was fulfilled by the arts, history and culture.

Gordon will always be remembered and deeply missed by his wife Glenda, his children and dear grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua and Justin. Gordon was an exceptional family man and his work ethic, honor and integrity were all focused on the family he loved so dearly.

A service will be held on Tuesday @ 2:00 at McInnis & Holloway. 14441 Bannister Road SE
