Obituary of Marjory Frances Brown-Azarowicz

Marjory Brown-Azarowicz passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2009, at her residence in Fairfax, Virginia. Dr. Brown-Azarowicz, professor emeritus of George Mason University in Fairfax, was born in Calgary, AB. Among her numerous accomplishments in her career, she was the author of many books in education as well as articles and journals. In retirement, she taught piano and was a member of the Washington and Northern Virginia Music Teachers Associations. She was a member of the Vienna Seventh Day Adventist Church. Marjory is survived by her two stepchildren, Dr. Diane Black and Calvin Azarowicz; and three grandchildren, Mikhail, Vladimir and Natalya. Memorial Services were held in Virginia.
