Obituary of Brenda Susan Sarozek

Brenda Susan Sarozek, beloved wife of Phil of nearly fourteen years, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the age of 50 years. Brenda was born in Calgary, AB, and was raised in Spirit River, AB. She began work in the airline industry on May 25, 1978 and had always worked for Air Canada Jazz. Frequently she would have gifts for the girls and boys on her flights and with a love for Tinker Bell, there would often be Tinker Bell pencils, bookmarks and stickers for the girls. She was a fearless woman with a keen eye who loved to try new things. She had travelled all over the world and was a creative person with an artistic eye. She had recently discovered that she had a talent for photography. Having a big heart and a caring, loving personality, Brenda would often spend hours shopping for special gifts for her friends, neighbours and all the children in and around her life. She loved to sing and dance – both she did with more passion than talent. Daffodils were her favourite flower. Brenda is survived by her husband Phillip; daughter Erika-Lee and boyfriend Rick; stepson Phillip (Carla); grandsons Scott and Theron; sisters, Roxanne (Arnie) and Michelle (Doug); brother Rick (Lynn); parents Bernie and Lucille; in law siblings, Jody (Cindy), Dana (Wendy), Desirre (Mitchell), Beth; and her many nieces and nephews.
