Obituary of Paul William Korb

Paul William Korb of Calgary passed away at the Chinook Hospice on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the age of 81 years after a brief battle with ALS. Paul’s love for music and playing the Alto Saxophone led him to become passionately involved with the Razzama Jazz Band and the Jam Band. Another favourite past-time of his was five pin bowling. He was a member of the Ottawa Valley Bowling League, which disbanded in 2008, for over thirty years. Besides his loving wife of fifty-six years, Lorraine, Paul is also survived by his daughter Pamela Bergeson; granddaughter Kasandra Hess; and two grandsons, Jesse and Wyatt Bergeson, all of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by his grandson Allan Woods and great-grandson Braven MacFarlane of Charlottown, PEI. He was predeceased by his son Randall Alexander Korb in September 2008. Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
