Obituary of John Clement Fischer

John Clement Fischer, loving husband of Florence, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2009 at the age of 87 years. John was born in Saskatchewan then moved to Alberta in 1967. He spent many years working as a crane operator before going on to work as a commissionaire. He was also a veteran of WW II. In 1969, he married Florence. John was of Roman Catholic faith and was very active in the Knights of Columbus. He loved all sports and fishing. John is survived by his son Michael; daughters, Diane (Rick), Donna (Steve) and Marilyn (Doug); brothers, Albert (Colleen), Gordon, Joe (Melinda) and Don (Phyllis); sisters, Vera and Lillian (Jack); as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John was predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Madelin; brother Larry; sister Rose; and brothers in law, Nick Zerr and Alf Schraeder. Memorial mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive N.W.) on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
