Obituary of Murray Wallace Kirk

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Murray on May 25, 2009 at the age of 47 years. Murray was born in Edmonton, Alberta but lived most of his life in Calgary. He graduated from SAIT and worked as a chef; then as a manager of Money Mart and later as a construction worker. The love of his life was his partner Gail Annand and his dog Gypsy. Murray lived a full and loving life, giving caring support to his many friends and family. His house was a refuge for his friends in time of need. All of us have lost a wonderful person. Murray is survived by his parents Judy Ubaldi and Wally Kirk; step-parents Erzi Ubaldi and Jennifer Kirk; life partner Gail Annand of P.E.I.; brother Alan (Mendy) Kirk; sister Heather (Ryan) Sandboe of Grande Prairie; nephews Taylor Kirk and Collin Sandboe; niece Leasa Kirk; grandmother Beatrice Jones of Victoria; uncles and aunts Leora (Nick) Atkinson of Ottawa and Dr. Vernon (Judy) Jones of Calgary, Clare (Cliff) O’Neill of Penticton; as well as cousins Dori (Kathy) O’Neill of Vancouver. He was predecease by his grandfather Harold Jones.
