Obituary of Ivan Joseph Bayduk

Ivan Bayduk beloved husband of Mary of Calgary, passed away on May 26, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 84 years. Ivan was born in Sarnia, ON, January 8, 1925 and on June 8, 1946 , he married Mary. Ivan served with the Navy during World War II. He then received his Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from Queen’s University in 1951, and was employed with Imperial Oil for over 30 years until his retirement in 1981. Besides his loving wife Mary, he is also survived by his children, Larry and Cameron; daughter-in-law Barb; three grandchildren, Leslie, Erin and Christopher; five great grandchildren, Cole, Meika, Aiden, Sarah and Owen and his brother, Edward (Jean). Ivan was predeceased by his son David. A Celebration of Ivan’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
