Obituary of Delia O’Brien

Delia passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the age of 71 years. Delia was born in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. She married John O’Brien in 1963 and they moved to Sudbury, Ontario. In 1979, Delia moved to Calgary, AB with her husband and three children. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of forty six years, John and her three sons Patrick (Donna), David (Nicola), Dan (Dennis). She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Carter, and Jenna. She will also be missed by her family and friends including two sisters and brothers-in-law, Denise Bourget and Terese (Pat) Moreau and John Dufresne. She was predeceased by an infant son Michael, brother Al Martin, sisters and brothers-in-law; Adele and Dick Harrigan, and Pauline Dufresne, and Ernie Bourget. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass and Interment will be celebrated at a later date in Sudbury, Ontario.
