Obituary of Deveny Audrey Snyder

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Deveny Snyder on Friday, May 1, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Dev graduated from nursing in 1947, from the Calgary General Hospital. She enjoyed camping hiking and outdoor activities with her family. Dev also loved the theatre and travelling the world with her friends. Dev will be dearly missed by her son, Rick (Bev)Snyder; daughter Penny (Jim)Miller; grandchildren Kim (Dale) Krawec, Troy (Bonnie) Snyder, Echo (Lamin) Njie, Jamie (Leisa) Miller; and six great grandchildren; brother Jack(Lucy)Hicks their children and families; sister-in-law Joyce Cusack.; brother-in-law John Malinic. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1993. A Celebration of Dev’s life will be held at Springbank Heritage Club, (244168 Range Road 33, Springbank) on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 3:00p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
