Obituary of Emily Billy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom and Grandma, Emily Billy, who passed away on April 30, 2009 at the age of 77 years. Emily enjoyed life with her friends at her retirement home, but specially loved spending time with her grandchildren, all of whom she was very proud of. Emily is survived and leaves to mourn son Ron (Leslie); dear grandchildren Sarah, Joshua, Mataya and Bradley; along with numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1997. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. A celebration of Emily’s life will be held at Red Deer Lake United Church (West on Highway #22x past Spruce Meadows) on Friday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Union cemetery.
