Obituary of Donald Victor Peteherych

Donald Peteherych beloved husband of Carole Peteherych of Calgary passed away on April 23, 2009. Donald was born September 21, 1940 in Estevan, SK. As a young man, he moved to Alberta and enjoyed a successful Calgary-based career in the oil and gas industry. His favourite times were family get-togethers, travels, and summers at Sylvan Lake. Don is survived by his loving wife and best friend Carole; son David (Danielle) Peteherych and daughter Janelle, all of Calgary; daughter Kathy (Marty) Boulanger of Victoria; sister Joan Peteherych of Hamilton; brother Ole Peteherych of Estevan; sister Rose (Dennis) Gould of Regina; sister-in-law Virginia Peteherych of Toronto; nieces Linda (Kevin) Dunphy and children Alexander and Sean of New Westminster; Cheryl Peteherych of Chicago; nephew Steven Peteherych of Toronto; cousins Mickey (Susan) Moroz of Osoyoos; Joe (Val) Moroz of London, ON; Bohdan (Dina) Petyhyrycz of Mississauga, and families; sister-in-law Laurie Mader of Calgary; nieces Debra (David) Putnam and children Jeffrey, Hannah, and Jill of Calgary; Susan (Sean) Nixon of Victoria; Marilyn (Paul) Johnson and children Taylor and Andrew of Seattle. Don was predeceased by father Michael Peteherych, mother Katherine Peteherych, brother Steven Peteherych, brother-in-law Stan Mader. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N.E., Calgary, on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
