Obituary of Joseph Bachmeier

It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph (Joe) Bachmeier announces his passing on Wednesday April 29, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Joseph was born in Prelate, Saskatchewan, where his parents farmed. He later moved to Calgary where he married Dolly and had their six children, three boys and three girls. Besides his loving wife of sixty-three years, Dorothy (Dolly), Joseph will also be sadly missed by his children, Garry and Susan Bachmeier, Leron and Hildie Bachmeier, Carol and Terry Parsons, Maurice and Patsy Bachmeier, Linda and Glen Clarke, and Rosalie and Frank McKnight. Along with his children, Joseph leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, his brother John; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters.
