Obituary
Obituary of Barry Otter
Barry was called into the Creator’s arms on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the age of 28 years.
Barry was born in Calgary, AB. He was a very loving and handsome young man with a smile that would brighten your day. He was well known for the passion he had for golf, hockey, basketball, wrestling (Barry Wonderful) and football, which he played with the Calgary Bulldogs and Bishop Grandin Ghosts. In September 2008 he married his childhood sweetheart, Alberta. Barry’s greatest accomplishment was his children, whom he held and adored with great pride, promised them the world and protected them with all his love and wisdom. Our family use to tease him by calling him “Mr. Mom”. Barry was employed at Chilla Elementary School, he enjoyed working there as he loved seeing the smiles on the children’s faces. He also worked in the Nation’s various departments and most recently received a home which he designed himself, taking in mind the comfort he could provide for his family. Barry always held his traditional ways and culture with great value. Barry was a proud godfather to Lisa and Curtis Big Plume’s children and Natasha Memnook.
