Obituary of Jacoba Douglas

It is with great sadness that the family of Jacoba Douglas, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, announce her passing in Calgary on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the age of 90 years. She will be greatly missed by her daughter , Margaret (Frank) Van Der Meer; sons Tom (Gerry) and Jack (Carol) ; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, good friends and neighbours. Jacoba was predeceased by her husband William “Bill” Noah in December 1982 and by daughter Betty Jacqueline Northam in November 1994. She will be deeply missed and her memory will never be forgotten. A Celebration of Jacoba’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Services to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery.
