Obituary of Brent Frederick Maitland

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brent Maitland after a courageous battle with oesophageal cancer on Friday, April 24, 2009 at the age of 60 years. Brent is survived by and leaving to mourn, beloved wife Karen of 39 years; adoring daughter Andrea; loving parents Velma and Keith; as well as admiring son-in-law Carl. He will also be sadly missed by the many friends, neighbors and colleagues, whom he touched with his quiet demeanor throughout his three decades as an architect and senior project manager. Words cannot express our family’s sadness at this time, as Brent’s legacy of kindness, generosity and integrity remains. The world will be a little less bright for those who knew and loved him; we will all miss you enormously.
