Obituary of Douglas James Stephens

Douglas James Stephens Jr., beloved son of Douglas and Louise Stephens of Cochrane passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the age of 27 years. Douglas was born and raised in Lethbridge and lived in Cochrane. Also known as “Pudge” and “Tonka,” Doug was a pitcher and catcher for little league and followed on into senior league ball. He followed all sports with his father, Doug Sr. and his favourite teams were the Leafs, Steelers and Blue Jays. Douglas spent his summer with his cousins in Christina Lake, at the home of his grandparents. Parents Quote “Mom and Dad hope you are OK and will see you in a while.” Douglas is survived by his parents Doug and Louise; brother Billy; grandparents Howard and Eleanor Stephens; Grand mother Marie Brodie; grandfather Bill Hendry and wife Ros; uncles, aunts and families, Dan and Ruth, Jessie, Noelle, Danielle, Dave and Diana, Jordie, Sara, Dean and Lisa, Clay, Tate, Lanny and Lorna, Shaunna, Kayla, Kyle, Larry and Cheryl and Chelsea and uncle Mike; as well as special friend Emma and many more extended family and dear friends from all over Alberta and BC.
