Obituary of Mark Kroontje

Mark Kroontje beloved husband of Anna Kroontje of Calgary, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the age of 80 years. Mark was a steadfast, devoted husband, and an affectionate, mentoring father, who lived a life dedicated to the service of his family and his Lord who guided and blessed Mark’s life. Besides his loving wife of fifty-five years, Mark is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Al and Stacey Kroontje of Calgary; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and Jerry Prange of Fort St. John, BC and Wynne and Ken DeWyn of Calgary; eight grandchildren, Melissa Prange, Cheree and her husband Slade Stephenson, Ashley Prange, Brandon, Zachary and McKenna DeWyn, Samantha and Keawna Kroontje; and two great-granddaughters, Olivia and Victoria Stephenson. He is also survived by relatives in The Netherlands. He was predeceased by a brother Jetze and two sisters, Anna and Akke.
