Obituary of Margaret Petty

I was born in 1931 at Clan Ranald House on 10 Avenue S.W. in Calgary to Nellie and John MacDonald. Throughout my life, I was blessed with a loving family and wonderful friends. I also cared deeply about my community and served on several city boards, including the Development Appeal Board, the Calgary District Hospital Group and the Calgary Assessment Court of Revision. I am survived by my darling husband Jim and my dearly loved daughter and son, Kathleen and Regan; grandsons, Ryan and Mitchell; and my brother Ronald. I am also survived by nieces, Janet, Joanne, Patricia, Mary Jane, and Terri; and nephews, Michael, Patrick, Paul, Danny, John, Ron, Alan, and John. I was predeceased by my parents Nellie and John; my sisters, Marie, Joan, Angusina, and Sheila; my brother Ian and my daughter-in-law Janet (Lovell) Petty. My pilgrimage on earth is over and it has been a great journey.
