Obituary of Mary Demco

Mary Demco of Calgary passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at the age of 89 years. Mary is survived by her two sons, Denis (Marie) Demco and Dr. Larry (Pat Becker) Demco; two grandsons, Terry and Scott and their mother Margaret Demco all of Calgary. She is also survived by her brother A. J. Tom (Irene) Preston of Edmonton; and her sister Rose Harboway of Greenwood, IN; sister-in-law Rose Prestupa of Edmonton; brother-in-law Frank (Virginia) Lukay of Comox, BC; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was predeceased by her parents; husband Orest Demco in 1991 and brother Mike Prestupa in 1995. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Stephen Protomartyr Ukrainian Catholic Church (4903 – 45th Street SW, Calgary) on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral (10825 – 97th St, Edmonton) on Thursday, April 23, at 10:00 am.
