Obituary of Kenneth Wright

Kenneth (Ken) Wright of Calgary, passed away peacefully and quietly at home on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the age of 61 years. Ken fought a long, hard and courageous eight year battle with cancer. He was constantly surrounded by his family. He greatly enjoyed the Easter celebrations held for two days in his home, watching his grandchildren play and being surrounded by his loving family and abundant laughter. Born July 3, 1947, Ken lived in Calgary his whole life. Ken retired from Canada Post corporation in 2002, with thirty-two years of loyal service. Over the years, he formed many life long relationships with his workers. The closest of those being Larry Stella and Lorne Spooner, who helped and supported Ken through all his hardest battles. Ken will be fondly and lovingly remembered by his fiancee and soulmate, Donna Aulin; his children, Mark Wright and Sherri (Cory) Borg; his grandchildren, Chanchila Siriporn and Natasha, Malissa, Emmery, and Kaleb; his brother Barrie (Clara) Wright and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Cathy of thirty-years; his parents, Herbert and Marie Wright; his sister-in-law Jean and brother–in-law Gene; and brother-in-law Bob Brockhurst.
