Obituary of Florence Pauline Dick

Florence, beloved wife of fifty years to Leo, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Florence was born and raised on a farm in Beiseker, Alberta. She was an amazing artist and loved to crochet. She entered many pieces of her work in the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede where she won numerous awards. Florence is survived by husband Leo; her children Terry (Chris) McManus; Joe (Stacia) Dick and Jim Dick; grandchildren Dawn, Kylie, Shelley (Tom), Jeremy, Eric, Juliann and Daniel; great-grand children Michael and Hailey; as well as brothers Norman and Vernon Hagel; and sister Geraldine (Jack) Thorson. She was predeceased by sister Annadine Brosteaux; and brother Roy Hagel; as well as nephew Brad Thorson.
