Obituary of Carlos Segundo Solis

Carlitos “Papy” Solis husband of Maria of Calgary passed away on April 13, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Carlos was born on March 2, 1925 in Santiago, Chile to parents, Carlos Solis and Juana Astudillo. He came to Canada with his family in 1977 and spent most of his life here in Calgary. Even though Carlos returned home almost every year, he loved his life in Canada. He was a gentle soul, who adored his family and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Besides his loving wife Maria, Carlos is survived by his daughters, Patricia Medina (Sergio) and Sylvia Solis-Marasco (Franco Marasco); grandchildren, Sergio Rodrigo (Krista) and Claudia Medina and Daniel (Joy Ann) Solis and great grandchildren, Marcelo Olson Medina and Leandro Medina. He was predeceased by his parents.
