Obituary of Erwin Leonard Breu

Erwin Breu, beloved husband and father passed away in Vancouver on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 after a valiant twenty-four year struggle with heart disease. Erwin was born in Port Arthur, Ontario, son of Fred and Flora (nee Anttila), and grew up in Marathon, Ontario on the north shore of Lake Superior. After graduating from the University of Manitoba, he was employed by Canadian Pacific Railway, working on the engineering side of the company until his early retirement at sixty. Erwin is survived by his beloved wife Dinah (nee Inge); dear son David (Sarah); brothers, Karl (Diane), John (Bernie); and sister-in-law Elizabeth (Gary) and her son John; nephews, Oliver and Aaron (Krista); nieces, Merrell-Ann (Anne) and Reegan (Larin); and by great-nephew Alex Bill Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (7 Sunmills Green S.E.) on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
