Obituary of Gordon Alfred Gord Lachner

Gordon “Gord” Alfred Lachner of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the age of 70 years. Gord is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Jean Boudreau; children Gordon Habkirk (Tammy), Jane Habkirk (Don Mustard), Randolph Boudreau, Elaine Benjak (John), Denis Boudreau (Amanda), Diane Butts (Kim), Joanne Micallef (Paul), and Theresa Boudreau (Gerard Hawko); twenty-two grandchildren and one great-grandson; brothers Ed Lachner (Cindi), and Douglas Lachner; and sister Esther Lachner. Gord was predeceased by his mother Edith Lachner, father Harry Lachner, and daughter Denise Wall. A Celebration of Gord’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Tuesday April 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
