Obituary of Carole Darlene Evangelista

With family by her side, beloved widow of John Peter Evangelista, Carole Darlene Evangelista passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the age of 69 years. Born in Blairmore, Alberta Carole lived and went to school in the Crowsnest Pass with her family until meeting her future husband John in 1956. Married in 1958, she soon experienced her next great joy, the birth of her daughter Norine. Eventually, relocating permanently to Calgary she saw her family grow with the addition of two sons, Tony and Clint. The growth of her family continued with the addition of five beautiful grandchildren. By far and away her greatest achievement and passion were her immediate and extended family. Carole is survived by her mother Eda (Gordon) Barker, sons Tony Evangelista, and Clint (Debbi White) Evangelista; son in law Dave Riddell; grandchildren Chris, Natalie, Gianna, Aiden and Kamryn. She is also survived by her brothers Kevin Aschacker and Rick (Wendy) Aschacker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins in both Canada and Italy. She was predeceased by her father Martin Aschacker; husband John Evangelista; and daughter Norine Riddell.
