Obituary of Peter Black

Peter Black of Red Deer Alberta passed away on March 12, 2009 at the age of 56 years. Peter was born on September 6, 1952 and was raised on the Siksika Reserve and later resided in Edmonton and Red Deer. He is survived by his sisters Yvonne, Eileen (Frank Big Crow), Geraldine Black, and Marcia; nephews Robert Wells and Terrance Black; as well as other numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives. He is predeceased by his parents Francis and Louise Black; sisters Evelyn, Juanita, Bernice, and Mildred; and brothers Isadore, Roderick and Luke He will be sadly missed by his surviving family, we are sorry if we missed anyone Wake Services will be held at Sister Celine Parish Hall (Siksika Nation, AB) on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB).
