Obituary of Nell Elizabeth Walker

It is with great sadness that we announce that Nell Walker passed away in Calgary on Monday, March 30, 2009. Nell was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. She graduated from nursing in Saskatoon and practiced in Winnipeg, Toronto and Calgary. Nell worked for many years in a private medical practice with her husband in Calgary. She enjoyed traveling around the world; her most enjoyable vacations were with family, especially her grandchildren. Nell is survived by her husband William T. Walker; sons, Bill (Donna) and Brian (Marion); grandchildren, Tom, Annie and Julia; and sister Rose Kinash of Saskatoon; as well as many nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her mother and father, numerous brothers and a sister. At Nell’s request, no funeral will be held. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Nell’s life at the Glencoe Club “West Room” (636 – 29th Avenue SW) on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Forward condolences through .
