Obituary of Bea Wales

Bea (Edith Beatrice) Wales of Calgary passed away quietly in her sleep on Saturday March 21, 2009 at the Fanning Centre. Born September 20, 1914 in Keoma AB, Bea lived in Calgary from the age of sixteen. She married Eric Joseph Wales on September 6, 1939. Her cheery spirit and accepting nature were cherished by all who knew her and we will miss her so very much. Bea is survived by her children Pat of Calgary, Dick (Terry) of Sundre AB, and Dott (Brian) of Hamilton, New Zealand; grandchildren Jolene and Jamie; great-grandchildren Brendan and Megan; sister-in-law Joy of Calgary; nieces Bette of Vancouver BC, Dianne of Christina Lake BC and Linda of Vancouver BC; nephews Jack of Calgary and Don of Red Deer AB. She is also survived by her good friends Dale and Joe Burritt. Bea was predeceased by her husband Eric in May of 1982; sister Clarice, brother Jack; and parents Ora and Thomas Park.
