Obituary of Patricia Leigh Wilson
At her loving home Patty Leigh passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2009.
Patty is the cherished daughter of Lloyd and Trudy Wilson, sister to Tara Jane (Mark) Rideout, Tricia and Lloyd Wilson Jr., auntie to Ronnie, Liam and Patrick Rideout. Dearly loved by her grandparents Elsie and Lawrence Wilson, Barbara and Victor Richardson. Patty’s short journey was full of challenges but she savoured the happy times with her supportive communities. Patty loved her family and countless friends deeply. Patty’s outgoing personality, politeness and smile captured many hearts. Patty accomplished numerous awards with her schooling and enjoyed working at Chrysalis, Rehoboth Ministries and L’Arche. Patty wanted her love to be known and skillfully wrote letters to everyone. Her favourite music was Western with a sprinkling of Abba and camp songs. This beautiful lady will be missed by many.
A Celebration of Patty’s Life will be held at Christ Church Elbow Park (3602 – 8th Street S.W.) on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 1:00 p.m, Reverend Ansley Tucker presiding. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

Patty’s family would like to thank all the caring folks who entered their home over the past five weeks; neighbours, friends and teams of supportive Palliative Home Care staff. As always, the sincere compassion was overwhelming to her family.
