Obituary of Mabel Harriet Fehr

Mabel Fehr of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the age of 87 years. She was born March 19, 1922 in Magnolia, AB. She moved to Calgary in 1942, where she met her husband John Fehr and they married in 1946. Mabel worked in Calgary for the Harse family who became life long friends. She enjoyed many activities, including golf, curling lawn bowling and especially enjoyed to travel. Mabel was able to fulfill her lifelong dream of travelling to Sweden with her daughter Gaylene, where she visited the birthplace of her parents. Mabel dearly loved her family and the time spent with them was very special to her. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. Mabel is survived by her loving daughters, Lynda (Helmer) and Gaylene; niece Margwin (Lloyd); grandchildren Byron (Heather), Danielle (Brian) and Stephan as well as other numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John, Parents, Brita and Johan; siblings Hilma, Helge, Harold, Hildur, Hugo, Helen and Hilding.
