Obituary of Lavina Adelia Grouette

Lavina Adelia Grouette of Calgary passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Lavina was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, as a military wife living in various places before retiring to Summerland, British Columbia. In 2004, Lavina, moved to Calgary to be near her family. Lavina is survived by her two daughters Pat (Gerry) Walsh of Ottawa and Louise (Rod) of Calgary; four grandchildren Mark, Ryan, Adam, and Samuel; and two great-grandchildren Jackson and Piper. Lavina was predeceased by her husband Phileas Grouette, of sixty-one years; and sisters Dena Sparling and Elsie Kirkland. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
